On Thursday 13 June 2019, a special group of people are coming together for a conference in Shoreditch, London, UK. We are the ones building People functions in some of the most progressive companies.

Special guest speakers

Rebecca-Monique Williams
Head of People, Attest

Rebecca-Monique spearheads People Operations at Attest, with the mission to enable all Attesters to actualise their highest potential and do their best work to date.

Harnessing over ten years of People Ops experience – in stand-alone roles and leading small teams in start-ups and scale-ups – she joined Attest to build out and scale a People function from scratch to support plans for double team growth and international expansion.

She’s responsible for collaboratively designing, implementing and iterating processes, frameworks and guides for the entire employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, and the growth & development of its team.

Rebecca-Monique is huge advocate of enlisting design thinking to create an holistic employee experience and to help tackle challenges such as scaling culture and super-charging team member engagement, performance and growth.

Jai Clarke-Binns
Humans Navigator, Satalia

Satalia builds Artifical Intelligence (AI) solutions for the world's best known companies, solving industries' hardest problems. Using data science and machine learning to find patterns and extract insights that radically improve organisational decision making.

Satalia have no KPIs, no Managers, and no formal hierarchies. People can do whatever they want. work on whatever projects they want, when and how they want. Employees publicly declare what they think their salary should be, and colleagues vote on whether that should be reduced, increased, or kept the same.

As Humans Navigator, Jai is responsible for:
- developing People/HR processes to improve the employee experience
- designing a decentralised approach to Diversity and Inclusion
- identifying organisational and culture areas for development and re-design/growth
- iteratively developing a recruitment approach to ensure candidate authenticity and cultural growth
- helping to create a culture of employee feedback
- ensuring and running the day-to-day operational People activities.

Rose Stott
People Ops Director, TransferWise

Rose heads up the People Operations team at TransferWise, a mission-driven FinTech that’s learning how to scale. With over 1400 employees in 12 countries, they're not a start-up any more, but they've been able to maintain a super strong culture despite their rapid growth.

Rose's role encompasses the nuts and bolts of HR: payroll, benefits, mobility, compliance, etc. Her team set up the frameworks and keep processes running smoothly so that Wisers can focus on the job at hand - moving us ever closer to a world with free international money transfers for all.

This is Rose's first role in the world of tech, having previously cut her teeth in Advertising and Retail. Commercially minded and comfortable in high-growth, highly ambiguous environments she's skilled at bringing order to chaos. With a ton of experience leading small and large teams, and has plenty of reflections to share on both successes and lessons learned along the way.

Kim Wylie
Global Director of People Development, Farfetch

Kim has recently joined an incredible ‘scale-up’, Farfetch, the global luxury fashion platform, as Global Director of People Development.

She previously spent 11.5 years at Google multiple divisions including Learning & Development, and most recently the Cloud team, where she was Global Practice Head for Customer Change and Culture.

She is an expert in change management, the psychology and neuroscience of change, digital transformation, organisational culture, leadership, innovation and high performing teams.

She is a board advisor for the Culture Analytics platform Temporall and has had articles published in The Economist and Forbes and is a regular guest lecturer at London Business School.
